Description
These grapes have been grown in the Strathbogie Ranges in north-eastern Victoria.
This wine is lightish ruby red in colour with just the slightest hint underneath of a red-orange blush.
Dry and tannic, with smoky aromas of truffle, anise and prunes and well-balanced acidity, this vintage is an intense wine with mixed floral and complex mouth-filling flavours. The wine’s acidity gives it the opportunity to match against fattier foods with saltiness, such as well-seasoned lamb, goat, sausage, rich casseroles and olive oil-based sauces.
This Nebbiolo is good to drink now and will improve with careful cellaring for several years
