Description
It’s not often we can introduce a consummate wine of this vintage and at this stage of its development. Only bottled in 2023, this wine has been so carefully managed and allowed to softly mature in French Oak for 12 years.
The fruit was sourced from the next door region of Heathcote/Colbinabbin in Victoria, a treasure of a place to grow and ripen top quality Shiraz.
It is dark red in colour, with full-bodied, well-rounded grace and charm. There’s cherry and ripe plum, hints of nutmeg and liquorice on the nose, with layered flavours of fruits and spice on a long, juicy palate.
We could wax lyrical about it for ages, we’ve fallen in love with this wine! But our best advice is – just try it, sip and savour it, we think you’ll love it too.
Drink this aged Shiraz now, although it will cellar for a couple of years if you must.
