A Cocktail Party on Easter Thursday, 6th April from 5.00pm, will open the event. The exhibition will be extended to include the unofficial Anzac Day long weekend, from Saturday, 22nd April to Tuesday, 25th April 2023
About this event

The show’s theme is a journey through landscape, nature, the Australian bush and its inherent profoundness, quirkiness, characters, as well as the emotion and celebration all that inspires.

Within the Land – Sculpture at Acheron seeks to encourage established and emerging artists and sculptors from across Australia to display their work/s and engage with other artists and a diverse, interested community.

Artist and Show Director, Marian Rennie, has had family connections to this land at Acheron since the 1860’s. Marian works with Christine Challen of Little River Wines and a committed volunteer committee who share her vision to provide a stimulating venue for artists to display and sell their works and to provide the public with the opportunity to enjoy those endeavours in a beautiful setting.

The exhibition will be open to the public each of the nominated days. Entry into the gardens is by gold coin donation.  A licensed restaurant/café will operate concurrently throughout the duration of the exhibition and in 2023, an Artisan Alley consisting of arts, crafts and bespoke local produce in individual marquees will be featured in a designated area of the gardens.
